Hi Guys!

Sorry I haven’t Posted anything in like 3 WEEKS! gosh! But I’ve literally been at BAND CAMP the whole time XD CLARINET POWER! But this last week I’ve been in a total media blackout having vacation at this place called “Camping at the beach and not having fun island” I just got back last night so lets have fun!

Pixar you have outdone yourself once again. Above is the first official image of Merida, Pixar’s first female protagonist and first princess, from Brave. And it’s a doozy! Besides The Incredibles and Up, Pixar has steered clear of having humans lead their feature films. And who could blame them? Toys, fish, and cars have made them millions, if not billions. All of that, however, will change with Brave. If this image is any indication, Pixar’s creative team is proving that a human driven project (set in the Scottish Highlands) is a hurdle they can certainly jump over. From what has been revealed, Merida will be a bit country regal and a little bit rock ‘n roll rugged. With her soft milky skin speckled with freckles and her unkempt locks a fiery red, Pixar has captured the essence of Merida without having her so much as utter a word. Brave is set to open in theaters June 22, 2012. 363 days people. 363 days.
